~**~

The entrance of my classroom. Decided to call it The Champions' Room after some brain storming with the sisters. The reason is simple and obvious so I shall not bore you with the details. I have finally finished with the room yesterday and have some minor touches to do before taking more pictures and hopefully, posting them up. haha..I dare not promise after past failed attempts of putting up photos. So they will be up when they are up. haha..I am just lazy la. No patience to do transferring and waiting for pictures to load etc. So sian. :p

Today is the eve of the eve of new year and once again, a time for some reflections. Did I fulfill my simple resolution to Make a Difference in someone's life? Well, I would say yes to a certain extent and not all were positive alright. Thinking back, a lot of things took place this year and I would have to say that I certainly did make an impact in the life of those around me both in a negative and positive way. Some friendships were strained and have yet to be mended and on the other side of the fence, new ones were made. Also, working in a school is making a difference too, in a positive way I hope. =).

I would always ask myself this question nearing the end of each year. "Am I happy?" Well, after spending some time flipping through the pages of my memories, I came to a conclusion that despite the occasional bumpy roads, this year was a year of many lessons learned and also one that blessed the family with 2 precious gifts. My little nephews. Oh wait, lets make it 3 because my cousin in India is due soon too! =)

Yes, I cannot be any more contented than I am now.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. ;)

Just a little food for your thought.

How do you handle Adversity? Are you a Carrot, an egg, or a coffee bean?

I have put this story up before but it does not hurt to read it again and well, do a little thinking maybe?

I think I was a little of the carrot and a pinch of the coffee bean. I hope to be more of the coffee bean in the years to come and hopefully, never an egg.

So here you go, read on!

And yes. Have a very blessed new year and may the BIG guy up there be with you and your family through the days ahead.

And before I sign off, here is my resolution for this year. " To be that change." Again, short and sweet. I think best during late nights and this popped into my mind while I was doing some planning for 2011 one night.

Anywayz, see ya next year!

Adieu!
