I have half the mind to report them to the police, religious conflict being the reason or should I say instigation.

I was there out of obligation to make my father happy and not out of the acceptance of these stupid fools and their crappy speeches. I have nothing against the religion because I respect all religions and their unique practices and like many of you know, my family is made up of a mixture of them. I like to proudly call it the rojak family.

I have Christian cousin, Muslim cousins and of course, the Hindu cousins and all of them bring to the family a beautiful blend of culture which makes my family special. I love to see the reaction on people's faces whenever I show them a family picture and they notice my aunty and cousin with their tudungs. Yes, that is my family =).

We respect one another's religious practices and no one interferes with the other. So why can't this happen on a larger scale? I am thankful that in Singapore, we call all live harmoniously without worrying when someone is going to hang a pig's head outside the mosque or a cow's head outside the temple or (I don't know what is against the Christian values) outside the church BUT one thing is for sure, continue with your stupid preaching and all these will go down the drain one day. You may think that it is behind closed walls but my dear silly friends, even walls have ears and while you think everyone in there are your own people, let me take this opportunity to remind you that there were those like me and my sisters who did not even want to be there and disagree hugely with 3/4 of the things you have said in that long painful 3 hours.

You want to fight the evil from across your street? Why not fight the one within your walls first?

Seriously, why can't people open their eyes and see that all religion are equal? Tell me which religion teaches their followers to practice evil? No one has told me to pick up a knife and kill a non-Hindu because he is a sinner for not following Hinduism and I am sure it is the same for the Muslims and Christians too. It is the minority, that few who have misinterpreted the teachings that go the wrong way.

Hmmph!

Before I end of, let me say this. Like the idiomatic expression goes, All roads lead to Rome and it is the same for religion - not that it would lead us to Rome, but you know what I mean. =)
