This is just for the sake of fun. Last night when the Blob opened a packet of chips, there was a Switzerland football team's hand phone key chain in it. Naturally, she gave it to me who though love Switzerland so much, laughed at the thought of the Swiss winning any match in the world cup because to me, I always picture them in Ski gear more than anything else - but who am I to say, I do not watch football at all.Long winded-ness aside, when my sister told me that they were playing against Spain that same night, my reply was "ha! I don't think can make it la." Oops! Haha! What did I see when I picked up today's Straits Times? There in the Sub-headlines were the words Swiss beats Spain in a shocking 1-0 match! ( well, something along that line la). HAHA! I under estimated the ability of the Swiss. And as silly as it sounds I like the whole coincidence of it all. The key chain, the remark and the unexpected win.Go Swiss! Who knows, they may surprise all football fans out there by winning the world cup this season. =) oooh lala, I wish! ;)Surprise me again. The work will wait while you show the child the rainbow, but the rainbow won't wait while you do the work.
