As I sit here doing my work in silence, I cannot help but listen to the cheerful laughter of the little ones outside. It is noon now, which means the p1 and p2 kids are in for their afternoon session.
In this silence, their peals of laughter is indeed a welcome.
I am very blessed to be working in a school. An environment where the sounds of laughter is a guarantee day in, day out.
A reminder to us that admist all the difficulty we face in life, we should be like the kids who once out of their classroom, are able to leave all the scoldings they have received behind to come out into the sunshine to enjoy the half hour of blissful playtime they are given everyday.
Yup, I have something to learn from that alright. =) Laughter gives us distance. It allows us to step back from an event, deal with it and then move on. ~Bob Newhart
