I finally got to do what I have been wanting to do for sooo long. First, promise that you won't laugh. hehe..well, I went shopping at MUSTAFA! haha..yes you read it right. MUSTAFA. hahaha. I don't know why but lately I have been having the urge to just go there and shop. Ironically, that place used to be the place my sisters and I hated stepping into because...hmm..let me just say we were young and a little too naive with regards to culture acceptance. ;)
Now years later, that is one of my favourite places to shop at. To be more specific, to shop for indian products which you would not easily get at the one hundred and one shopping centers we have locally. I love looking through endless selections of ayuverdic(herbal) products like face soap, stinky yet nourishing hair oil (psst..my hair does ook good no? plus no smell right? ah! see..it is a common misconception that indian hair oil leaves a stinky after smell..hmmph! it is all about how you wash it =)) and the many branded products at much affordable prices - they are genuine too.
Moving on, got myself a new bottle of hair oil, herbal soap ( seriously, I still cannot see the logic behind spending 100 over bucks for your face when something more natural and cheaper can do just as good a work! ahem..just look at my face :p)
kk, back to my list of purchase. I re-stocked on my primrose oil pills(the same bottle cost me 22 bucks at guardian - I got it for $18), sandal wood powder, umbrella and just as I decided I have got enough in the basket to break my wallet, my little peepers got drawn to a really nice black nike bag. They just could not resist the attitude its simplicity brought out. (Just another excuse to spend) and after a much heated debate between the angel and the devil, another 49 bucks was added to the bill. But somehow, my heart is not aching because 1) I was looking for a back pack for months and 2) The price was reasonable. So why not?
I am one satisfied, happy girl today. I have a huge smile on my face and nothing is going to wipe it off this time. =)
The mint makes it first. It is up to you to make it (money) last
