Damn all cooking shows! They make me want to just quit my studies and become a stay at home mummy(in future to come)! If only life was that simple,I would do just that.hahaha..isn't it cool to just stay home and do nothing but whip up new recipes and eat and eat and...just eat..Ok ,now it sounds boring.Hmph! But still?Cooking,not eating, seems so fun! I mean,it is a chore if it is something that is not of your interest,but I enjoy cooking and with proper equipments,I believe I can be a really good cook/baker. Just imagine this. Staying at home,cooking up something new for your family and making them happy.Giving them something to look forward to after a stressful day out at school/work.Oh no! What has happend to the no-way-am-i-gonna-be-a-housewife divya!Blame it on the cooking shows!But on a serious note,I want to be a good cook.It is definitely something I want to master.
Indian,western,malay,alittle chinese(not really into chinese food.Oops!).Fuse them all into one dish of psychedelic flavours.Won't it be nice? Shall experiment with it one day soon.Indian curries and traditional tid bits are definitely in my list too!My dream is to travel to kerela to get all the tried and tested authentic recipes and bring them back to this tradition-less country and bring it all to live.Ahhh..I can already smell the aromatic spices.
Cooking is so relaxing.You can cook when you are angry,when you are happy,when you are sad,in love,out of love..whatever the list goes on.. and the part I really love about cooking is that I am the boss! You take a recipe from a cooking show or maybe online websites and then its all in your imagination!Do what you want to it.Modify to your own liking,add something,minus something and vola! It is your own creation!
Never mind,consolation to myself,once I start earning and have my own cozy little home,I can have all the cooking appliances I want and create all my magic during the weekends!
God bless those who are made to taste them! (I meant it in a good way. Because they will love it so much,they will keep coming back for more and in time to come,they will put on weight.!wahahahaha..oops!).
I can be a real thick skin when I want to.
